Big Hearts Little Paws, LLC is a small, licensed, bonded, and insured pet care business that prides itself on providing professional and individualized care and enrichment to dogs, cats, small and exotic animals, and livestock throughout most of North Snohomish County, WA. We have a special love for the elderly, extra floofy, and the teeny tiny! All animals deserve to live happy, healthy, and enriched lives in an environment that makes them feel safe.
Hello! My name is Noël Heide. I am certified in Applied Animal Behavior, PetTech PetSaver First Aid & CPR and Nutrition Support, and Veterinary Assisting and Grooming. I have over 17 years of experience in the animal care field, including daycare, boarding, training, veterinary, and basic grooming. 10 of those years have been focused on pet sitting and practicing science based, force-free dog training, including reactivity and anxiety. My family currently consists of 3 pups and a senior kitty, ranging from 7 lbs to 80 lbs and 5 yrs to 14 yrs. I also have an adorable flock of silkie chickens. They are all the center of my universe, but my senior Pomeranian runs the show! When I'm not soaking up love with your fur babies or mine, you can find me connecting with the community at various pet friendly events. I also assist in the care of my elderly parents, enjoy listening to audiobooks, gaming, supporting the arts, and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
🏠 Slumber Pawties - Very small scale overnight boarding in our home for dogs who are dog friendly (all sizes), cat safe, and comfortable around men and chickens.
Positive Pup Stay, Play, & Learn - Individualized basic training designed to teach or reinforce skills while you're out of town, need a break, or just want your pup to learn a new skill. We believe training is best done with owner and pup, but we also understand that help is appreciated! Our positive board and train program automatically includes in person, weekly training with you in your home. For behavior modification, we recommend contacting Katie's Clever Canines for group classes or in-home privates.
🐕 Adventures - Dog walking/drop in visits to give your little Explorer(s) a fun and enriching break during their day.
🐈 Kitty Check-ins - Cat care visits for those indoor only felines.
🦔 Small Animal Stop-bys - Critter care for small animals, birds, reptiles, or aquariums.
🐎 Farm Feedings - Basic or extensive care for all of your big or small family farm members.
BHLP provides daily Adventure Stories of your pet(s) including arrival and departure alerts, food/medication alerts (if applicable), potty updates, and pictures of our explorations! We are also happy to reinforce any positive training techniques you may be working on, to help your furry family members continue to learn and grow! (We only provide training reinforcement to pets who have previously worked with or are currently in training with a licensed trainer.)

We highly recommend:
Complete vaccinations or titers, along with proof of a negative fecal are required for all pets for any services performed outside of your home. Proof of state required Rabies is required for all cats and dogs in our care.
We also require all new client paperwork to be completed prior to a required "Treat & Greet" before services are rendered. Please email us if you are a new client!

Noël made it so easy to go out of town. I am a paranoid pet parent and don’t trust many people to watch my pets. She kept me posted throughout the day providing pictures and telling me about their adventures. I have an anxious, reactive Great Dane who has trouble making friends.
